The Advanced Carpentry title follows General Carpentry along one branch of the two-pronged carpentry course path. The alternative branch for advanced training being Form Carpentry.

Frame and Finish topics covered in the curriculum include the building process, steel framing, and installations of thermal and moisture protection, drywall, doors, ceilings, stairs, roofing, and interior and exterior trims and finishes in residential and commercial construction.
